David L. Wells
David Wells is currently the music director for the River Rogues Jazz Ensemble as well as leader of The River City Jazz Ensemble big band. David served as the founder and director of the Northview Community Band for 25 years, before retiring in 2019. He is also the leader for the Dave Wells Strolling German Oompa Band, and The Ein Prosit German Band.

The River Rogues Jazz Band pursues the energy and soul of traditional jazz, which began in New Orleans, traveled up the Mississippi, spread throughout the U.S. and then around the world.

We’re West Michigan’s high society dance band, playing the standard swing tunes from the 1920’s to the 50’s! Our performing venues include wedding receptions, conventions, music festivals and special occasions.
